Their UK representative said a seat for the H2 SX SE would be available in late July.HouTexH2SX wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 10:11 pm Sargent may never make an off-the-shelf seat for the H2 SX--just too few of these bikes are sold. The best bet is to have them custom modify your stock SE seat like they did for me, Burmashave, and others for about the same cost except that they use your stock seat pan and you have to do without it for a few weeks. They raise the front and flatten it out and dish the rear--this solves the perineum pressure problem and pain. Well worth the price and wait IMHO.

Re: SE Seat is Torturous
If you've solved poor stock seat comfort, by your own mods, 'exactly' what did you do that turned the stock seat into something workable/comfortable for you? How would you rate the OEM seat, vs your modded seat, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being tops?
If you've purchased an aftermarket seat, and that solved your seat issue, what seat did you buy. How would you rate the OEM seat, vs your purchased seat, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being tops?
Any 'changes' you did in particular you found were a waste of time/money ?

Spoke to SARGENT this week. New seat has been delayed until the middle of August. They said they had quite the waiting list. I'll let you guys know when they call with availability.

Re: SE Seat is Torturous
Recently took delivery of a brand new H2 SX SE Plus model. I'm now at 1000 miles as I was desperate to run her in and Im pleased to report no issues with the new seat.
Last years model (H2 SX SE) was killing me until I finally broke it in after around 2500 miles.
Not sure if Kawasaki changed something but the new seat is so much better despite looking the same.

Re: SE Seat is Torturous
Interesting. For some reason that didn't sound right when I first read it but, sure enough, it's a different part number. Part description also includes the word "premium". OK, maybe not a literal meaning - after all reports say the "comfort" seat is not actually comfortable - but it indicates something different. List price $388.Dragonmaster wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 11:18 pmNot sure if Kawasaki changed something but the new seat is so much better despite looking the same.

My seat rebuild is almost done. Fitting today shows a huge improvement. Should be done tomorrow. The white foam is part of the original.
