It looks to me as if both seats have the same painted part number: "0592".
If I understand correctly, that is the base part number which is the same across all the different options. On the right side the numbers are different
The base part number is 53066. The dash number (4 digit) differentiates the various seats: 0595, 0597, 0596, and 0592. These numbers are molded into the seat base. The painted number indicates which of the four seats is the finished one.
Awww man, I'm embarrassed
Now I have a spare to send to someone for remodel. Thanks!

I ordered the low version of the comfort seat and made 1/2” bar riser plates and it was a little more comfortable but it’s still not that great so I sent my stock seat off to Sargent.
Once I get my seat back from Sargent I will probably sell the low seat.

Yes ... I call it the Discomfort Seat ... if this is the upgraded version I pity those that bought the std model. My wife also found the passenger seat sat her too far back and she couldn't hold on with her knees like she could on the old bike. She didn't feel secure .. not good on a 200+ hp bike. Did some googling and found a reputable seat guy locally ... he did not let me down. Great work!

Looks good. What changes did your seat guy make and in what places?

I had the rear seat extended forward and the front face of it made more vertical to allow the passenger to sit further forward. The front seat was also redone with a more dished out feel. It sits you on the bones of your bum rather than the bit between your legs. Softer foam that feels a bit more plush. Both seat are bespoke as he removed the foam and covers so the seats could be put back to std if needed.

Do some of you think your seat comfort may be influenced by your height and or your weight? Taller and or more weight = less comfort? Nothing personal meant by that question.
I'm hoping I'm small enough the bike seat won't notice I'm there.
. . . but seriously, honest question.

I recently finished a trip with the stock seat. We averaged 9 hours of riding for 4 days. That's 9 hours on the bike not 9 hours including stops. I never had any issues with the seat.

Mebbe height, but not weight. I'm 6' 3" and 165 lbs. I don't have great muscle tone in my glutes, which I think makes the difference for me.
I'm liking the job that Sargent did on my seat, although I wish I had had them lift the nose a bit more. Still, I'm not sliding forward nearly as much, and I'm not getting pinched in the crotch on hilly rides, which is a huge bonus.

I'm still struggling with comfort on me SE seat. I managed to get a second seat on eBay and had a gel pad fitted to that. It helped … a bit, but wasn't really a proper solution. I went from about an hour before discomfort on the standard seat to just over 90 minutes on the gel pad seat. I've now dug my old Airhawk out of the back of the cupboard and I'm playing with that, trying to get the exactly right amount of air in it.
This is all very frustrating as my previous bikes were BMW K1300Ss which were literally "all day" comfortable, having done a couple of 600+ mile, 12+ hour days with no discomfort what so ever.
The search for all day comfort on the SE continues.
Have you found a solution yet? I'm having the same problem.

Not yet! I'm waiting to see what Sargent offer. My Airhawk is currently getting a lot of use.
