Your seat looks awesome, great job!
Any tips/how to’s on how you did it along with where you bought the gel insert?
I would love to take a shot at modding mine like yours and if I screw it up I guess I will ship it off to Sargent....lol
It was just a matter of sculpting the seat bit by bit. First and most important was creating a dish in the middle getting rid of the forward slant that causes the discomfort. Once you have that to your satisfaction you need to make some measurements where your coccyx is located on the seat. Mark out a generous pad to cover your seat bones then remove the foam to insert the gel pad - bought from a local seat repairers. Re-cover and enjoy.

LAAM in california - he does a one day turn around - mail it to him and in one day on it's way back. He did a seat for my triumph speed triple R and I was very happy with quality and price. However, he was a one man operation and great to deal with. now he has an office manager and I did not like talking to her. Others have had similar impressions.

I don’t think the slope is so extreme, rather the stretch caused by the tank and bars which also bends the legs back. More upright like an adventure bike would give more long range touring comfort and spacious seating but then wouldn’t be H2 either. Just my $0.02 seat doesn’t fix this, is what it is.

Corbin will make you a custom seat.

Last night I got my "Comfort SE" seat delivered, as well as the frame sliders. Physically the seats look identical. I took a few pictures and can't tell them apart. I do feel taller with the new seat, definitely helps the cramps in my legs from being bent so far. In the pictures, the old seat has the rubber tab, the new doesn't come with it and I didn't transfer it over yet before I took the pictures. Can't wait to break it in!

It looks to me as if both seats have the same painted part number: "0592".

If I understand correctly, that is the base part number which is the same across all the different options. On the right side the numbers are different

The base part number is 53066. The dash number (4 digit) differentiates the various seats: 0595, 0597, 0596, and 0592. These numbers are molded into the seat base. The painted number indicates which of the four seats is the finished one.
