Not sure if this will work but this is how my Sargent conversion turned out. Thought they did a great job for $300!

Your rider seat appears to be modified just like mine--hope you're as happy with it as I am. I like the way they re-covered your pillion seat to match.

HousTexH2SX, yes, I had them pattern it off your work order. While I have not actually had good enough weather here in Ohio to try it out, it seems to have improved one of the most glaring issues I had with this bike. Just sitting on the bike in my cold garage it does feel significantly more comfortable and I'm anxious for warm weather so I can get some time in on it. Might be a slight change in height with the pan dished but not much. Very happy with the results and I love the look. The stock seat covering was a pain to keep looking good too, so that's an improvement too IMHO. Kawasaki delivered a fantastic performance machine to us and some incremental changes have made it more comfortable but it is a SPORT-touring bike, not a TOURING bike with a dose of sport thrown in and that works out the way I'd rather have it.

I just got my seat and pillion back as well. I referenced HousTexH2SX order, but tried to give Sargent detailed instructions as well. I didn't have them raise the seat height, but I had them raise the nose about 1". I thought about having them raise the height because I stand 6' 3", but I thought the seat might start to look weird if they raised the tail a bit and the nose a lot.

After mounting the seat, it still seems canted much too much downward. It's took cold to ride here, but sitting on it, my butt seems to slide to the nose. I do think they did an awesome job, especially on the covering of the seat/pillion.

I'm prolly going to send it back and have it redone at my expense. :-( Any thoughts, suggestions?

Zdude, it looks great! Thinking about that for mine as well, although I don't need my seat higher .... :-) . Maybe lower.... anyway, I am going to Daytona for a quick couple days to watch the Daytona 200 and by the time I get back, I suspect I may really be wanting this :)

Hope all is well! Ping me if you need anything.

Normally when Sargent modifies a seat they dish it out so it lowers it slightly. Since, for me, the legroom was already a little cramped I specifically asked them not to lower the seat but kick up the nose a little to keep me from sliding into the tank. That's what they did and it worked for me. I do sit a little further back on the seat with a slight increased reach to the bars but it's not a problem.

I'm getting a very different feel from my seat job, even though it seems we gave Sargent very similar instructions. When I sit on the seat, I slide forward. I'd be much happier sitting further back.

I am planning a trip to see LAAM in Redding CA this spring. Ride in, measure up, he rebuilds to your needs and ride home. Spendy at $400 front or $500 with matching rear cover, but I have heard really good things. I am fine with the SE seat, but I really want to raise the seat up to give my legs some room.

Seat gets better with miles mine was killing me last year but now I have some miles on the bike (3000) its much better.

Funny thing is I nearly went to the doctors I thought it was me that had the problem not the bike as I've never experienced numb nuts while riding before and I've been riding bikes 33 years.....
