Engine looks Triumph. It's a Thruxton I think. Paul Smart was a Ducati model wasn't it?

That's a new Triumph Thruxton R. I just traded my red '16 model in on the H2 SX SE.
I loved the look of the bike and, even though only 100 HP, it is very torquey down low and a blast to ride. My only issue was that I had to have it towed in to the dealer 3 times--twice due to flats on the rear (hated the spoked wheels with tube tires) and once for a fuel leak. That ended my love affair with the bike.

Yes the Paul smart was a limited Ducati , looks very similar besides the trademark Triumph engine case shape that I missed
Beautiful bikes!!
I cant believe it uses a tubed tire! They have the tubeless spoke wheels out now

Yes, it is 2018 Thruxton R with a grand total of 2000 km on the clock... I bought it on first sight ... then rode it and my arthritic wrists just can't cope - so I got the SX and my ride buddy uses the Thruxton - that way I don't feel bad that it gets unused and I still get to look at it while having a beer!

It does look good in the garage! Definitely old school--reminds me of '72 Norton Commando Roadster I owned back when.
Since the TTR hurt your wrists are you okay with the H2 SX? I found the windblast from the unfaired TTR kept some of the weight off my wrists and it wasn't really that much more lean forward than the H2 SX.

I have no wrist problem with the H2 - mainly as I can throw the cruise control on and give the wrist a rest - the Thruxton has not got it...and the bars are significantly lower than on the H2... trouble of needing the wind to take pressure off is the solution for shit roads around here is to make the speed limit lower and lower to the point it takes an hour to get onto a road you can go fast enough for enough wind to lift my fat ass weight off the bars lol
