Gps signal, or cellphone signal can be blocked which makes this device pretty useless. Better to have good insurance.

you can go with this as an extra to another tracker, i think you will need a BIKE TRAC which is £399 and then £99 yearly sub. but its not phone gps only there its satellites and it detects anytime your bike move or battery removed and calls you . i had the system on all my bikes. this system you share seems good but not affective at all if they put it in a van or cover with aluminum foil.

you cant block the Bike Trac signal, you can fade it out, soon as you fade it out, it gives warning to the headquarters and then the headquarters can make the signal even stronger for a few hours.

Insurance in UK won't cover you if your bike was stolen from another address rather then your own address, so what will you carry your garage with you :)

You know that type of vehicle location is a good idea, and particularly for populated cities and towns. Where I live we do not get cell service that is reliable, but it's not too far away and cell service resumes (4 miles away for us). LEO's that have the proper equipment and time to do tracking, soon after the bike is stolen, can have a very reasonable chance of catching the crooks. The longer the delay, as in kidnapping, the less likely for recovery.

The LEO's I've known have mostly enjoyed being out on the hunt with their equipment. It gives them something 'different' for bit. They particularly seem to enjoy the bust.

I use to have my 14 with something similar, but I had it ring me, as I was always not too far away.
