Self-Tuning Thread
Re: Self-Tuning Thread
Yeah, it's a laptop. Heading out to a race though so no time to do the trip out and back to the shop. Hoping they (Woolich) can just allow them to use my account on their PC for my map. That's what they thought they could do, but didn't work out.

If they use your account they have to use your V3 interface.kman0066 wrote: Thu Aug 16, 2018 10:40 pm Yeah, it's a laptop. If they try to use their interface with your account it will give an error saying the device is locked.

It's amazing how fast you can go when you take your time.
Re: Self-Tuning Thread
They have my interface as well. It says something about too many PCs registered or something like that.

Re: Self-Tuning Thread
i speak with woolich racing Tuner in my are, they said that ECu mapping and ignition timing for H2 SX SE could be done but it takes around 3-4 hours and cost £520 so i will do it for sure but more for getting it just over 200 hp and make it healthy. I already bought my 2014 zx10r headers and also exhaust for that year, i am just going to get a link pipe titanium from Akrapovic and then that's it i will get it mapped. so fa the Exhaust cost me £300 and headers cost me £119
so its very good. these prices are really good. yes probably it wont give the performance of fully made full system but i am all about losing weight on the bike. it will be amazing.

Re: Self-Tuning Thread
I have the woolich auto tuner as well (not hooked up to my sx se yet). Have used it on my zx10r and zx14r. Easy to use. Really glad someone is using it and testingg the waters before i hook it up lol. You added 4* of timing, did they do any testing on the dyno to see if that was knocking or if there is more room? Does the h2’s like that rich of a afr? 11.9? I was running 13.2 on my zx14r at 100% throttle. What are you running for cruising afrs?

Re: Self-Tuning Thread
Boosted applications are safer with Rich mixtures. Can probably go up to 12.5:1, but would never lean a boosted vehicle to 13.2:1.
There is much more timing available to increase, but that requires a Dyno yes. My bike is currently at the shop awaiting Dyno time.

Re: Self-Tuning Thread
Excited to see the final results. My wife said if i touch this bike she will kill me lol. Will reevalate after the 1 year warranty is up. Doesnt look like there is much room to have a bung welded up on the oem pipe so a slip on is out of the question. I’m really hoping a full akrapovic or yoshimura system comes out.

if your going to flash it you can disable the stock o2 sensor remove it and have a welder replace the narrow band bung with wide band bung.

Re: Self-Tuning Thread
Woo hoo, results are in! My tuning (very little timing changes, 100% throttle, and basic AFR changes) brought it up to 193.10hp at 11.4k RPMs and 95.99 torque. He tuned it, adding timing and cleaning up the AFR, it got all the way up to 237hp, but he backed it down to 233.72hp at 12.8k RPMs and 104.27 torque.
My goal/hope with this bike was to reach 230, and I'm there with some change!!! Now to find some time to go riding.

Do not get the Akra mid-pipe. It interferes with the swingarm linkage. Ask me how I knowTHOR wrote: Fri Aug 17, 2018 8:47 pm I already bought my 2014 zx10r headers and also exhaust for that year, i am just going to get a link pipe titanium from Akrapovic and then that's it i will get it mapped.
I made a ton of the 5mm spacers if you need any. I think I have a dozen spare sets. If enough of us do this mod I bet we can convince @vcyclenut to make a tune for us.
