I wonder how good a job the assists do making sure one does not flip the bike.
What have you raced and what was the result.

Not yet, I'm waiting on the full line to be available from Vandemon and for vcyclenut to release a flash for it.cOoTeR wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:11 amNot bad for a sport touring bike. That should bring the bike up to an expected approximate of 240 RWHP (Vandemon expects an 8% increase in power for the full line)

Is that 8% over a stock bike or 8% over a flashed bike? 20 RWHP is quite a gain.JonTheChron wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:50 pmNot yet, I'm waiting on the full line to be available from Vandemon and for vcyclenut to release a flash for it.cOoTeR wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:11 amNot bad for a sport touring bike. Stock I believe, so probably less over a flashed bike?

Darn I am terrible at launching at the dragstrip and was hoping the LC would give me a little more confidence but as with anything it will need more work.JonTheChron wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:46 pmI almost flipped it on my last run, the first wheel was about 5 ft off the ground and maybe 80 dgreesDelearious02 wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:29 pmJonTheChron wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 1:56 am My best time was 10.62, but I'm sure I can do better. People laugh when I run slower times on my Hayabusa (stock wheelbase) but I ride it home every time I go and still had fun. For me I am happy to run a slower time and bring me and my bike home safely.

I've never had any issues with the launch control and tc on this bike. If I lean on the tank the front tire barely comes up. The system is way better than on my 2012 zx10r.Delearious02 wrote: Mon Jul 16, 2018 1:12 pmDarn I am terrible at launching at the dragstrip and was hoping the LC would give me a little more confidence but as with anything it will need more work.JonTheChron wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:46 pmI almost flipped it on my last run, the first wheel was about 5 ft off the ground and maybe 80 dgreesDelearious02 wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:29 pmJonTheChron wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 1:56 am My best time was 10.62, but I'm sure I can do better. Re: What have you raced and what was the result.
At the drag strip I raced an 07 CBR with ECU tune, airfilter and exhaust. He'd get me off of the line but once I got out of first gear I'd run him down and pass him pretty fast I was almost a second faster each time.
Raced ZX14 with an extended swing arm, lowered, air shifter, exhaust and shinko hookup(might have been more done to it but the guy said out was completely stock when asked what mods it had). He got me off of the line pretty bad but I started running him down towards the end of the drag strip. He beat me by .5 but we had almost identical mph. If we were going another 1/8th mile I think I would have had him.
There was a guy there on a bmw s1000rr lowered, stretched, air shifter, carbon fiber fairings, exhaust and shinko hookup tire. He wouldn't line up beside me but his times were about the same as mine and his mph was slower.
Raced some cars there as well including some cts-v's and hellcats I destroyed all of them. The only cars that would beat me are the purpose built drag cars.
I mentioned to my buddy with the R1M that I was pretty confident that from a roll my H2 SX SE would take just about anything that's street legal. He thought his R1M with flash, tune, airfilter, exhaust would out run the H2 SX SE from a roll. Yesterday we had rented out a local track so at the end of the day we decided to do a couple roll races. We did a 20 mph roll in first and I gave him the hit. First was pretty even because we were fighting wheelies and a cross wind. I'd short shift first at 10k rpms then Id pull away pretty fast. We only had enough room to go to the top of 4th but the further down the track we went I continued to pull away at a faster and faster rate of speed.
For all the above races my bike was on 91oct, full Vandemon exhaust with the H2R style muffler, sprint filter, flash and tune.
