Better be on your A game when up against S1000RR
I was out riding on a nice cool evening yesterday (after a good mid-day rain) temperature was 79F. I came across a guy riding what looked to be a litre bike but I could not tell at the time. I followed him out of a small town and into some back roads where he proceeded to get on it pretty good. I was thinking to myself, "Hmm, I am on a flashed full power bike (somewhere around 215 rwhp) , not much this guy can do. I went around him at about 110mph or so and backed off a tad and road for a bit around 85-90mph. I was watching him in my rear view mirror and waited for him to come around me . As I saw him (and heard him drop gears), I also downshifted (but not enough) but it was too late, he pulled me really hard! I was able to keep up but wow.... those S1000RR's are very impressive! He stopped a ways ahead and we had a chat. His bike has an akrapovic pipe and a BMW factory race flash. He is probably every bit of 200rwhp plus lighter both in bike and rider. Fun stuff.

3...2.....1......And now you realize that you could keep up with S1000RR with race flash on a touring bike ....

Loved the H2SX, Dan. My first time to get a good look at it from behind. Lol. Here's the video.
