Maybe just cut all of it off and fab up a mid-pipe

Vcyclenut, it would be great to hear that MTC slip-on. Any chance of a video post?

it sounds like any inline four 1000cc bike with a slip on exhaust just on the quite side

I think people posting videos of what an exhaust sounds like is more a test f the microphone then what the actual sound is.

There is nothing unique to the sound besides the chirp of the supercharger on roll off which I don't think changed with the slip on. not sure it would even on a totally uncorked full system since the super charger is on the intake side.

I think putting actual tubing is a much better solution,

the square shape of the catalyst could do weird things to flow that may actually make it flow worse then just having the catalyst in there

Vcyclenut, It has been a few days since you installed the MTC slip-on. Just wondering if you've had any chance to examine the fueling adjustment, if any this slip-on required over your stock flash upgrade? If adjustment was made, did any power increase result? I'm interested because I have the Yosh slip-on ordered and want to get your reflash done but not until you've determined if slip-ons need any additional refinement. Thanks man for all your efforts here!

Ive been working on it pretty regularly and it will be on the website shortly, I maintain my own website and I always seem to run out of time to work on it

My stock bike flash would be ok with it, the changes have not been huge

I cant verify gains till the weather chills a bit, the fact that it picked up a little power despite the increased temp and humidity tells me it did add a few hp but I don't think it will be as big a gain as the air filter was
