3 Days @ Tail Of The Dragon, Deal's Gap, TN

A good friend and I spent 3 days exploring the twisting, undulating roadways around Deal's Gap on the Tennessee / North Carolina border last week. Of course we rode the Dragon's Tail but there is so much more and much better roads all around that area. My personal favorite is Hellbender 28, specially south past Robinsville, N.C., they have recently paved a large section with what looked like a sandpaper surface, not good for tire longevity but unreal traction and fantastic corners, lots of them! Over 1000 miles covered there, no tickets, no wreaks but we did take a couple wrong turns and got lost temporarily - LOL! All I can say is , Kawasaki has provided us with an unbelievable bike that can adapt to many uses and passions, one thing for sure, it corner so good and pulls from low rpm in high gear better than any 1000cc bike I've ever been on, did I say smooth too! My friend was on his FJR 1300 with full pipe and tuned, he was shocked what the H2 did to him in a top gear roll on, it is crazy wild. If you've never been to the Gap, it should be on your bucket list for sure.
