To you that say "buy a goldwing or a concours", get a life. There is nothing wrong with having my bike the way I want it. I will get a tall screen and a short screen. Kawasaki markets this bike a a sports touring machine. Nuff said.

This site is full of negative opinions and other worse crap. I won't understand the negativity. I want what I call a 3/4 bike. I want performance, handling and a bike I can comfortably do a few thousand miles on. I called Zero Gravity earlier this morning again to push them to make one of their Touring screens for this. I am with you bud.

The negative comments get real old quick. I think many of us buying $22,000 bikes could go buy any bike we choose, a Goldwing included. If you just have negative comments and or just go buy another bike, how about you just don't comment at all. I like having a machine that is fast as hell and reasonably comfortable for long rides. On the bike I have almost 7000 miles since April 7th and have multiple states rides including about 700 miles in a day with many more to come. I did over 1000 miles in a day on my blackbird and I know other bikes would be more comfortable without anyone telling me. Mod the heck out of it, make it yours and share ideas. Happy riding to all, including the negative ones.

Since I probably started this I want to say I did not mean to be negative. I just wondered if it was the right bike if you have to make changes like a tall windscreen on a sporty bike like this.
I did the opposite and mounted the OEM lower tinted screen, as i found the original too high. Actually I have less noise around my helmet now, and in my eyes it looks better.
Everyone else, feel free to do whatever you want, including bar raisers and tall windscreens. Happy riding!

At 6'2" the taller windscreen for 3 seasons is fine. At 6'2" and a rider who rides in all 4 seasons I'll be looking for taller in the fall. Last year I rode to work when it was 7F.
