Can you hear supercharger at idle?

I was cleaning my bike today and while at idle warming up for an oil level check, I had my ear very near the front fairing supercharger air intake opening. I could just barely hear a bit of a high pitched ringing, it disappeared when I raised the rpms bit. I also just had the Sprint F1 air filter installed which I assume let’s more sound out than the much lesser flowing thinner stock filter. If I moved my ear away from right in the air intake opening, I could no longer hear it. Anyone else notice that, especially with the high flow/thin F1 Sprint filter? Bike is running great with no other issues.
