They are worth waiting for. Smart design, easy install, good protection, especially compared to the fragile, overpriced Kawi sliders.

Why does anyone need sliders if owning a supersport touring bike? Don't get it just curious why someone so experienced who only owns these bikes need framesliders...

because if it falls over or you have a slow speed tip over it does far less damage then it would without the sliders.

not sure what angle your coming from to ask why someone would want frame sliders in this bike

I personally wont own a bike without quality frame sliders as ive seen and experienced the difference they make. This was true even before I sold them

I’ve been riding since 1969, so I am experienced, which is not the same as “expert.” Among the things I have experienced are cars pulling out in front of me part way through a low-speed u-turn (dropped the bike; sliders prevented damage), unexpected slick Diesel spill at a gas pump (almost dropped the bike; glad I have sliders), etc.

Additionally, the frame sliders are primarily there to protect the important components of your bike such as the engine. The fringe benefit of helping to protect the fairings is also nice.

And not that it matters, because you should have sliders either way, but this bike is basically a hypersport first and a tourer second. 😁
