Typically how long until aftermarket exhaust is released?

Post by bull_dog190 » Fri Jun 01, 2018 5:49 am

Just curious how long it typically takes for the aftermarket to start releasing full exhaust systems for a new motorcycle? (like our H2SX)

I think its surprising that there isn't a full system available yet, but maybe im jumping ahead a bit.

I'm just going with the Akrapovic slipon for now. Has the looks and still an improvement in sound.

If you remove dbkillers then yes, if you don't then it's gonna sound almost like stock.
Fitted mine today, took me 3 hours to get them out but was worth it

VANDEMON are in the process of releasing a full line for the H2SX, I'm quite sure the headers are in their final stages and they are in the process of choosing a design for the can..

Let us know how it goes.

Based on my experience with my 2013 ZX10R, a slipon will not make much difference in sound, because of the catalytic.

Hopefull there is something soon.

Will do. Should have it within the next 2 weeks. I might even do a video and upload how it sounds. I don't expect it to sound like a full system, but god I hope there's an improvement over stock. I really hate the stock exhaust. Fantastic bike but they really dropped the ball in that area.
