protoype frames sliders from woodcraft!!
protoype frames sliders from woodcraft!!
Some prototype frame sliders for the sexy from woodcraft. Expect them next couple weeks to drop. They are my favorite brand and why I sell their products! No hole in the end instead mounting hole for puck on the side. Puts more plastic on the road and makes them easy to remove if you do use them. If you have ever tried to remove the normal center wholed ones after a crash you know it’s an ass pain. I’ll be offering some type of special when they become officially available.

I will have them soon.
its unlikely the bike will fall over and not have a scratch but they will reduce the damage greatly.
to long is not good either. The longer they are the more leverage on the end of it if you crash making them more likely to bend or fail.
These stick out 10 mm past the faring which is the proper distance

That makes sense now that you break it down like that. Thanks cyclenut. I was talking to Cooter, and told him this was my first "sport" bike. So any tips and info you can give me would be appreciated.vcyclenut wrote: Fri May 25, 2018 10:51 am I will have them soon.

Re: protoype frames sliders from woodcraft!!
My concern with a single point mount frame slider bolted to the frame is tweaking the frame if there is much forward speed when the slider hits the ground. Maybe the Goldilocks length is the right answer, I don't know.

Every frame slider I've ever bought has only had a single mounting point.
