Can we please get an actual picture of the spindle you bought? Did it work With the Moto d stand. If kawi made an oem spindle why wouldn’t they make a stand for it

Okay, there's the skinny on the Abba stands per an email from them this morning.
It will be another 2-4 weeks as they finish the adapter for the rear spindle (that goes into the axle). I provided dimensions for the swingarm adapter and they also now have access to a local bike to confirm dimensions.
The adapters that fit into the frame are done as they are the same size as the H2, but as we know the swingarm hole is a different size and they assumed it was the same.

I bought the MoToD stand because Kawasaki dealer asked 300 USD for the Kawasaki original stand. That too you will need to replace the pin as that was for a H2 too.quinzzypratt wrote: Wed Aug 08, 2018 3:39 am Can we please get an actual picture of the spindle you bought? So I bought the H2 stand from Amazon and the pin from the dealer. Nothing fancy about the pin, it is thinner than the H2 pin at the end that goes into the hub.

Sounds great but still no pic of the pin in a stand jacked in the air?

seems to be a good solution, but do you have pictures from the H2SX in this stand?Burmashave wrote: Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:39 pm I just picked up my SX SE last week, and looking at the jack stand options, I'm sticking with my ABBA sportbike stand:

https://abbastandsusa.com/product-detai ... e-2&pid=43
I've been using it for my '15 Kawi Versys, and I think it's the best solution for me. It's less expensive than the Bursig, and I really like that it lifts the bike from both sides of the center arm pivot. It's solid, and once the bike is up, it's secure. I also like that the only contact points are the center arm pivot itself. The ABBA stand definitely takes a little more effort than the Bursig to set up, and you have to purchase the front and rear wheel kit (above link) to get both wheels up. The ABBA stand is very solid and allows more freedom to work around the wheels than paddock stands.
I haven't done a track day, but I think the Bursig is quicker and more convenient once set up. On the other hand, the parts for the ABBA stand break down relatively flat for transport, and as I said, I like that it supports the bike from both sides.
When I went to the ABBA site, there was no fitting listed for the SX. I contacted ABBA about H2 SX fitment, and they got right back to me to confirm that the H2 fitting will also fit the H2 SX. Their site now lists an H2 SX fitting for the stand. The SX also requires a rear bobbin fitting to accommodate the swing arm (2nd pic). This is not available yet; however, ABBA support informed me that this fitting will be available in 8-10 weeks.

ABBA ships from the UK, but I was amazed to get my stand on time shipped 2nd day air.

UPDATE on the Abba stand:Fred wrote: Thu Aug 16, 2018 6:35 am seems to be a good solution, but do you have pictures from the H2SX in this stand?
I got the bike up today to do new tires. I must say that there was quite a bit of farkle time involved in getting the bike up on the Abba. It's been over a year since I used it, and I got my Versys pins mixed with my H2 pins because I haven't marked them yet. It'd go much faster next go around. On the other hand, It seemed to take about as much time to get the wheels off as it did to get the bike up.
I got by without using a rear bobbin pin (which are not yet available). Instead, I wrapped the strap around the swingarm (see pic). I couldn't get the front wheel off the ground until I had the back wheel off because there wasn't enough clearance, so it'd be a pain to use the Abba if I only wanted to get the front up. What I've done in the past is put a few pieces of thick plywood under the stand to get the extra inch or two needed to get the front wheel up.
The good part is that the bike is up, and it feels secure. It's totally a one person job.
All that said, I'm thinking about paddock stands -- prolly the Pit Bull if they come up with pins. I'm not comfortable with the Bursig. I read a review by a guy who scratched his bike up using a Bursig. The Abba is good, but not quick.
By the way, the pics that UFO posted show the Abba Sky Lift. Mine isn't a Sky Lift, and at the moment, Abba doesn't have H2 fittings for the Sky Lift (AFAIK).
