Is anyone close to Dayton Ohio interested in helping getting an exhaust developed for our bikes?

Post by cOoTeR » Mon May 14, 2018 1:32 pm

I reached out to Brocks Performance to see of they are going to develop an exhaust for the H2 SX SE. Brocks makes a lot of great exhausts especially for Kawasaki's. Here is their reply,
"At this point we don’t have anything in the works. Waiting to get one of those bikes through here to test and fit.

We appreciate your loyalty to Brock’s Products,

Please continue to check back as things update and change almost daily,

Thanx & Have A Great Day,"

They have a bikes wanted page and our bike is on the list. They want a bike from within 250 miles so I'm about 1,600 miles over that. But its a good chance to get some free performance upgrades for your bike.

Wish it was a bit closer. I'm about 325 miles and I don't have any reason to be up there in the near future.

I want something that had been developed and not pieced together. The cat is welded to the mid pipe and there is cat material inside of the collector it's self. Most likely it's going to be a full system for me.

But if that steel pipe is a true Akropovic mid pipe I might be interested. I don't want a slip on because I doubt it will help much with power with the cat being there. I don't just want a piece of pipe someone found will fit between a slipon and the header.

It's too bad I am going to be travelling so much for the next month or so. I am convinced the stock titanium 2011 ZX10R header will work on the H2 SX. I have a header sitting on the floor, and am going to see if the cat delete mid-pipe will clear our center stand. I will be running an Akrapovic exhaust can with it. Once I get back, I will install all this, pull the smog off and take it to my Dyno tester using one of the flashes available as a baseline to see how it sorts out. The design of our stock pipe is VERY odd. Quite small primaries that are very short, dumping into a single pipe that has what I call a pre-cat in it. It is fairly agreed out there that a 4-2-1 header design (like the 2011 ZX10R) works best for mid range power. I am not after making records with horsepower, but would love a lot more in the middle and get rid of this horrible on-off throttle hesitation. If you can wait, my idea is a quite inexpensive design as used titanium headers are available all over quite cheap. My header cost me $50 USD shipped to my door.

Not sure I would buy anything from Brocks, I've heard of too many H2 engines blowing up in his state.

I will personally wait for something from Akrapovic or Vandemon

How many have you heard of and just because they are in his state doesn't mean he had anything to do with them blowing up. A guy who goes by 650IB or something like that on YouTube has had his H2 for awhile and runs his really hard it's still kicking. The bike I know of blowing up was a 300+ horse power bike running races almost every weekend with upgraded supercharger gears.

Brocks has been building really fast reliable bikes for years. Lots of Kawasaki's have Brocks exhausts and other products.

New member here. I live about 9miles from Brock's shop and have submitted to allow my bike to be used as a developement bike. I recieved a confirmation from Brock that he has the application and will be contacting me when they get ready. Done my part guys, now we wait. I actually talked to a couple guys at his facility right before I picked up my H2SXSE about using mine. The facility is 1st class and his reputation is as one hell of a tuner. Will post more when he contacts me so we have a time frame. Just anFYI.
