I have mine under the top right fairing.

LOUD!!! And people definitely hear it. I've also found after using these for 8+ years that while they say waterproof it's best to keep them out of direct water. I had one mounted on my C14 where it was getting hit directly with water and it died in under a year.

I had a paranoid moment and worried about the heat and it melting so moved it directly under the top right fairing. Tucked in nice and tight and still very loud.

Thanks for posting those mounting locations...I was just pondering that...
Been using the Stebel air horn on most of my bikes for many years as they are loud enough to wake up a texting, mini-van driving soccer mom...
