I'm new to this site and just posted this question under "Got Tuned Today" and wasn't sure if I should post it here as well. I purchased my bike 3 weeks ago and to be honest, I'm a little disappointed with the performance. The stock ZX-14R I had before this bike definitely accelerated faster. I certainly see a tune in the near future. Does anyone know a good tuner (perhaps one who uses Woolich software) in the Phoenix/Mesa AZ area?

Come down to Tucson and go to Evan Steel Performance (ESP). They know what they are doing with this bike and have tons of experience with race bikes.reverend wrote: Wed May 30, 2018 2:19 am I'm new to this site and just posted this question under "Got Tuned Today" and wasn't sure if I should post it here as well. Thanks for the info. If I can't find anything a little closer I will probably do just that. Have you had any experience with ECS Dyno in Mesa? A fellow rider said he's heard good things about them.

Wow that is slightly disapointing to hear.
My previous bike was a 2013 ZX10R and I must say my H2SX feels 'right there' with it. But man is it comfy!!

You are right, ZX14/ZZR1400 is more brutal if it comes to acceleration. Also when on ZZR you can just open throttle and the bike rockets through, on H2SX it feels (a lot) weaker in comparison. But on the other hand h2 is much more fun in corners, in the city and has awesome wind protection on the highways. After almost 6k kilometers on H2, and 65k kilometers on ZZR before I can safely say that H2 feels much better to me than ZZR's did and I considered ZZRs to be best bikes on the market before.reverend wrote: Wed May 30, 2018 2:19 am I'm new to this site and just posted this question under "Got Tuned Today" and wasn't sure if I should post it here as well. Re: Finally taking my bike in for a flash and tune.
I've never heard of them and I'm pretty sure they haven't seen an H2 SX SE yet. ESP tuned mine using woolich so they know the little quirks of the bike and have the equipment in the shop to do the ECU flash/ tune.reverend wrote: Wed May 30, 2018 2:50 am Thanks for the info. Or you could ship the ECU to vcyclenut and have him flash tune it.
There is another guy on here from the Mesa area, I think he goes by thunderdawg. He might know about ECS.

You are correct, the H2 SX is much more nimble in the corners. Now, if I can get the HP and torque bumped up to where it will also beat the ZX14R in a straight line, this may just be the perfect bike!Rymek wrote: Wed May 30, 2018 8:57 amYou are right, ZX14/ZZR1400 is more brutal if it comes to acceleration.
