Which tire pressure do you use?
Im having mixed results with driving stability on the bike below 36PSI.
could everyone please share your front/rear tire pressures (cold, in psi?), perhaps with what setup you ride (with pillion, with panniers, or without) and your feedback on bike behavior at that pressure.

Re: Which tire pressure do you use?
Im on F/R at 36/36PSI, currently testing without panniers and no pillion. under 36PSI bike seems to be not stable. im 97kg, since that makes difference, and ride on mode F, KTRC3

Re: Which tire pressure do you use?
It came from dealer with the more common 36 front and 42 rear psi (though dealer said it was 42f, 42r as per official recommendation). I tried the recommended 42f , 42r but found the front just too hard - you almost feel every stone. Been running 39 front and 42 rear happily rear for the last 1000 miles whether solo, two-up and fully loaded. Last weekend on a sports riding outing I had the one rear cornering slide (50 deg and TC1 cut power too abruptly) so would try rear at 40 or 38 (and front to 36) if really zoned in or I was on track.

Re: Which tire pressure do you use?
I ride at 34/35 PSI on mine with no bags or pillion. I am quite comfortable and feel quite stable with over 1000 miles at that pressure. I plan to test it at 33/34 on the next few rides. I am 200lbs in my riding gear.
I would recommend that you check your sag on your bike as that could be three issue with some. I have to run my bike with the rear preload at maximum and I still don't get proper sag in the rear. I plan to install a taller spring soon since there is no preload adjustability other than the hydraulic setup.

I go 36/42 but will try 34/38. How will this interfere with the wear? Will I get shorter mileage?

Re: Which tire pressure do you use?
Hmm if it’s too soft yes and if it’s too hard as well issues for mileage. On a bike like this I’m more worried about stability than mileage.
My tires are 3/4 worn out at 3000km ;)

Re: Which tire pressure do you use?
With 36/42 my tires was completely worn out by 3400 km. We have a lot of curvy roads in Norway and the tarmac can be coarse.

I am starting a new thread for springs so I stop hijacking this thread.ghostwriter78 wrote: Tue May 08, 2018 8:15 amexactly my issue as well with preload and rear suspension. let me know what spring you get and from where57x wrote: Tue May 08, 2018 5:44 am I ride at 34/35 PSI on mine with no bags or pillion.
