Shoei GT-Air Expanse TC4 color match (photos)

Wanted a drop down internal visor so I don't have to carry multiple shields or wear sunglasses to worry about day/night riding. But didn't want a Neotec II (modular). So GT-Air was in the running. Only problem? Last year's model was the one with a nice paint scheme.

Scoured the internet with not much luck other than having one shipped from Japan for MSRP and shipping. Found a single 2017 model with the paint scheme I wanted, in my size at Dennis Kirk. Turns out to be a great match.

The 2018 colors suck. There's nothing with green in the entire GT-Air line, and I wanted the drop down internal visor

The RF-1200 has a photochromatic shield that darkens in the light and becomes clear when it gets dark. Not sure about matching graphics but I just ordered a race replica RF-1200 with photochromatic shield from Riders Discount. If you call them sometimes you can get better prices than shown online.
