Panniers arrived today via UPS.
Pretty quick, coming all the way from the Netherlands...and NO UGLY REFLECTORS! LOL
Still waiting on the green parts from my local dealer though...

Question for UFO. Just ordered my bags from MSP, not in stock right now, ok because I'm not in a huge hurry but after my trip to Deal's Gap with some old "Joe Rocket" corduro sportbike bags I had that were nothing but a pain in the arse, I quickly came to my senses. My buddy had a Yamaha FJR1300, hard bags with soft inserts. I was jealous as hell as he opened his bags and pulled the soft ones out at the hotel while I was struggling with straps, towels wrapped around everything so as not to mar any finish and bungee straps - a hassle at best and not waterproof. Anyway, my question: I know it doesn't include the color panel set but is there key locks and brackets with the bags?

They are bags only. You still need the side mounting brackets for the bike, and key locks if you want locks that work with your ignition key.

If you had bought the U.S. versions it's exactly the same, bags only. Installation is very easy, even keying the locks to your ignition key.

So in total:
  • Hardbags
  • Mounting brackets (attach near passenger pegs)
  • Matching color panels, top and side strip, separate items for some reason
  • One Key system (optional, but I think it's required)
  • Soft bag inserts (completely optional)

Thanks for the info dude, guess I need to order a few more items. I did notice the stripe and green panels were seperate, I suppose Kawa did that to drain us of a few more dollars. They should offer a package complete but what the hell, should have ordered them with the bike anyway.

UFO, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

My other bike is a '15 Versys 1000 with the same bags as my SX SE. I've always hated the ugly bicycle reflector Kawi put on them. I just got the green color panels from MSP (the bags/locks arrived long ago), and after installing them, I can say that the lack of ugly reflectors makes a world of difference!

Thank you for the tip!

Any easy way to remove the reflector? Is it just double sided tape or hard fastened?

See this post for details: Removing pannier reflector

To cover up the holes I used kenward's suggestion and bought a couple of Kawasaki Rivermark logos. Finished result looks like it was meant to be.
