Call up to check on my manual order. Looks like 99924-1539-31 supersedes the original part # of 99924-1539-01, so 99924-1539-31 is the correct manual to order. Kawasaki USA website still shows the old part #.

Yes, I agree. The manual I received yesterday from Bike Bandit had the part number 99924-1539-31. Kawasaki website had the -01 part number. Who knows?

I've checked in the internal kawasaki dealership system (where every dealership downloads their service manuals) during my 1000km maintenace (the owner is a friend of mine so he let me check and download service manual for myself). The newest ebook to download was:
99924-1539-01_ZX1002AJ_BJ_English_eBook_Rev

so I doubt there's something newer than this, since this is kawasaki official dealership distribution system.

Maybe the different part numbers are for printed and electronic versions.
