Footpeg Swap
Re: Footpeg Swap
I called Knight Design today to talk pegs. When asked if most or all of the Kawasaki pegs were interchangeable Robin said no: Ninja 300 pegs can swap with a ZX-14, and ZX-6R with a ZX-10R, but not between those two designs. She said they have all those pegs in stock for quick delivery.

Re: Footpeg Swap
I installed a set of ZX-10R pegs on mine the other day for my track day. They worked great I just had to use the spring from the H2 SX because the ZX-10R peg spring had a bend on the end of it and the H2 SX push spring does not. So there wasn't a slot cut in the rear set to fit the bent spring.

Re: Footpeg Swap
The OP said that the Ninja 300 pegs fit the H2 SX and another poster said that Knight Design pegs for the ZX-14 work on the Ninja 300. Has anyone confirmed that the Knight Design ZX-14 pegs will fit the H2 SX? This bike needs some additional legroom and the 35MM drop Knight Design pegs would really help.

Re: Footpeg Swap
I can confirm that the Knight Design pegs for the ZX-14R fits perfectly on the H2 SX. I fitted the ones I had lying around from my 14 and they fit perfectly and has made a world of difference. I'm 6'2", with 34" inseam and wished for a little more leg room on the H2 SX and the drop with Knights Design makes the bike perfect now, more comfortable than my 14R imo. You have to be conscious of the pegs when leaning the bike but that's to be expected I guess.....highly recommended to anyone who would like more leg room.HouTexH2SX wrote: Mon Jul 23, 2018 1:43 pm The OP said that the Ninja 300 pegs fit the H2 SX and another poster said that Knight Design pegs for the ZX-14 work on the Ninja 300. Now if I could just find a more comfortable seat...

Re: Footpeg Swap
I was really happy with the work Sargent did on the seat of my Triumph Sprint. See this link - Sargent Cycle Products - Premium Foam Upgrades. No connection just a satisfied customer.
I went for a foam upgrade using the original seat base and cover. I also kept the original shape - I simply wanted the tired old foam replaced with something to restore comfort on long trips. For more legroom you could opt for additional seat thickness - although bar height might then be an issue.

Re: Footpeg Swap
My riding buddy had Sargent rework the seat on his KTM Super Duke GT and was also very pleased. They not only upgraded the foam but also reshaped it to his specifications.

I've got the same story on 2 different generation Sprint STs. Replaced OEM foam with the Sargent foam. Excellent results!Champ87 wrote: Mon Jul 23, 2018 7:10 pmI was really happy with the work Sargent did on the seat of my Triumph Sprint. See this link - Sargent Cycle Products - Premium Foam Upgrades. Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

Re: Footpeg Swap
I am in the middle of a ~2000 mile ride. I had one 700 mile day so far, and have another this weekend as I get back home. I have VERY short legs (31" inseam) and my legs are extremely cramped on this bike. I will try the Ninja 300 pegs when I get home. I am planning a 4000 mile ride this fall, so I need to get this sorted as it is painful at the moment.

Re: Footpeg Swap
In 2016 I paid US$179 for the work to the seat on my Triumph Sprint. That was for foam upgrade only - I was happy with the shape of the Sprint seat but the foam was getting 'tired' due to age and mileage.
The seat on my H2 SX SE is stock. So far I haven't had any problems with it - although, so far, I haven't done more than 200 miles in a day on it. If I ever decide to have it upgraded Sargent would be my first choice.
