Re: Tank Bags

Post by Rickifumi » Wed Jun 13, 2018 11:17 pm

On such a steeply sloped tank I can see the compromises of generic mounting systems and tankbags. Even small bags are perched up high, almost floating above the tank, lots of unutilized open space beneath them. This bike deserves its own custom tankbag design! It could have greater capacity and a lower profile.

Panniers and tail packs are fine, but accessing them means dismounting. Tankbags are very convenient!

Hey Jonijii,

I am interested in buying the Engage or City bag. would you happen to have a side and top view picture kicking around to share with the community? Did the bag block your view navi?

Thank man

In my opinion the GIVI locking tank bag is a lot better

Do you have a part number for the Givi bike specific flange for the H2? RevZilla doesn't have our bike listed. Do you know which one fits the H2?

Its here.... haven't really found it online. Some folks like twisted throttle say they have it but read the fine print closely... it says new part pre-order now :-)

I just mounted the SW-Motech city bag on mine with the electric option that provides power through the mounting ring. I mounted it all the way forward so it doesn't push on me. I will be mounting my Garmin zumo 595 on the steering stem, I think I'll have a relatively clear view of it.

I like the idea of a tank bag, and tucking niceties into it, but I lay on mine too much to use one. :(

Finally got my tank and tail bag installed. Here’s some pics too just to add to the archive for anyone else.
