Actual weight

Post by Barrel » Mon Apr 09, 2018 9:42 pm

Full wet weight for the SE is I believe 260kg with full (usually 90%) tank.
I popped my SX SE onto my digital bathroom scales today (which usually over-read if anything) and was surprised to see it weighing less than expected.
While my readings varied a little I found my scales read
117.4 kg front
123.1 kg rear.
Making 240.5 kg with I estimated 8 litres of fuel in the tank. Giving a full tank wet weight of 248.2kg. :cheer:
Anyone else got actual readings or seen any other figures. It seems too low - especially the front.
PS: Std toolkit, number plate and tracker all included too.

I think Kawasaki's website said 564 lbs (255.8 kg) curb weight (all fluids and fuel) ... but some speculate that weight is with the hard bags installed. So you coming up with a bit less might back up that speculation.
