I just finished my first burn through of a tank I filled (bike came mostly full when delivered, but not sure how full).

187 miles, filled with 4.382 gallons = 42.7 mpg (5.5 L/100km)

This tank was in the "keep it under 4K" break-in phase...which I broke occasionally

Over my long weekend trip of 2,194 miles I saw as low as 27 mpg and my best was 35 mpg. This is with both bags loaded average speed of 80 mph and mainly with a head wind.
