Factory Saddlebags

Post by cOoTeR » Sun Apr 01, 2018 11:47 am

I noticed a couple things about the saddlebags last night. The first is the warning sticker on the outside says, "Do not hold the saddlebag' s handle, when running and getting on and off." Sounds like they are saying not to grab the handle to try to jump on or off a moving bike. Lol

Second thing I noticed was inside it says it's a GIVI bag so they most likely have an aftermarket option coming out soon.

Third they are only speed rated to 80mph when carrying a passenger or cargo. I thought these were designed to handle the bikes top speed on the autobahn? I guess they are able to handle the top speed as long as you aren't using them for anything  .

These are supposed to be the same bags that go on the 1000SX(aka Ninja 1000), and the Versys 1000. So, they've been around long enough for GIVI to release their own.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

I think that design is exclusive for Kawasaki. Givi did not release that for any other motorcycle, nor they released the racks/attachments for other motorcycles.
