Mods from other bikes that fit....

Post by KevinRLi » Sat Mar 31, 2018 12:05 am

Just came to me. With this thing so new and basically nothing out there lets start listing what does fit. For example.

Kick stand is the same size as my son's Versys 1000. So this will fit our H2 SX's

Another fit is the ram mounts that attach to the Clutch and Brake reservoirs.

I bought a PAIR system block off from Brocks that fits an H2, Zx14r, ZX10r and Z900rs. I'm 99% sure it'll fit. I let you know for sure if it fits in the next few days.

So this fit real well and I'm hoping it will keep this cold morning air off me on my commute. Also keep the rain out of my face.

That's what I was thinking too. Seems like a good solution.

The PAIR block off plates for Ninja H2 (15-18) / ZX-14R (06-18) / ZX-10R (04-18) / Z900RS (2018) fit the H2 SX SE.

Here is a quick thread I did about it.

I'm about convinced that Kawasaki used the same gas cap on most of the 1000cc bikes. Pretty much confirmed this by looking over online parts fische last night. Used ZX10R and Versy 1000 as my guide. So, that means I can reuse the SW-Motech EVO Quick-Lock tank bags I've been using. Once I purchase the appropriate tank ring(type 140, pn: TRT.00.640.14000). I've mocked up a sport, and daypack, and they seem to sit alright. The Sport might be a bit too far back with the Sprint ST placement of the topring, though. We'll have to see.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

I know the bolt pattern is identical from my C14 gas cap to my H2 gas cap. I moved my Givi tank ring from one to the other without issue.

Excellent post! The windshield extension looks like a winner. Easy on for when you need it, easy off when you don't.

What kind of sidestand enlager will fit? There are two different models for Versys 1000. One for 2012-2014 and one for year 2015 and forward.
The enlager in the link is for Suzuki V-Strom 1000.
