Near the same power, lighter, and with a ton more electronic doo-dads, still happy with the H2 SX. Even if the weight's were the same, the smaller rotating assembly will make the bike "feel" lighter when maneuvering. I'd also think the H2 SX's restrictions are much greater than the ones on the ZX-14. And it makes a Whoosh sound, hehe.

6 last years with ZZR1400 so it's nice to see the difference to H2SX ! Expectations are high...

If what woolich racing put out is true and accurate and the SX gains 50+ wheel horsepower with just a flash I think the SX will crush a ZX-14R (ZZR).

The best I've seen a ZX-14R gain from a flash, tune and full exhaust is 21hp and 12ft-lbs at the wheel. The torque is going to be the big difference, I haven't seen anything about the about of TQ the SX is putting out after being flashed. The ZX-14Rs torque could hurt it especially since its running the basic ktrac traction control that uses wheel speed to determine slip. The ktrac will take longer to notice the front coming up and will have to cut more power to bring it back down. The higher TQ on the ZX-14R could make the front lift easier under hard acceleration. But the SX is also running an IMU which in theory should have a less intrusive traction control system. The imu should know the front is about to lift before it even leaves the ground so it can cut less power to keep the wheel from coming up.

Stock vs stock I think the zx-14r will be quicker. But with aftermarket I think the SX will be quicker until you get into adding forced induction to the ZX-14r. But with adding forced induction to the ZX-14R comes less rideabilty and possibly less reliability. I think a modded SX will be the best all around bike which is why I'm buying one.

I was looking at the stock ecu file last night, it is straight up stupid how restricted the bike is

in full power mode the bike achieves 100% throttle for 500 rpm at 6000rpm and then it just keeps closing the throttle down to I think it was 16% for the last 1500 rpm.

I have never seen a bike even close to this restricted.

Rode both bikes recently.
- feels so much better,
- has supercharger,
- a ton of newer electronic tech
- did I say it has supercharger? (Awesome chirping sound)
- effortless acceleration
- like the next generation of bike compared to zx14

- is heavier,
- wider,
- bulkier,
- sounds better
- dash is tiny
- speedometer is a joke (0-300kph in a DIAL form)
- awesome acceleration
