Post by Thierry » Mon Jun 29, 2020 2:16 pm

Hello,
For information, do you know from which angle the footrest touches the curved ground on the H2 SX (+) ?
Thanks in advance.

Exact angle will depend on many different factors such as suspension settings, rider weight, tyre specifics, camber angle of tarmac etc. not to mention accuracy of the lean-o-meter, but my SX SE touches the "hero blobs" on the foot-pegs down at around 52/53 degrees.

Center stand will also interfere, I've heard.

I've scraped both pegs but not touched the stand down yet. As said though, lots of variables.

I’ve only had 45 left, and 47 right. Had nothing scraping, but it sure feels low to me...😬

At those angles I’m at the edge of my rear tyre! No chicken strips visible at all.. You guys getting over 50 degrees are braver than me..

Yeh snakes709, my centre stands gone too, plus the brackets. It does seem like it’ll have more ground clearance without it. I’ve left the hero blobs (what we call the balls on the pegs round here!😆) as a warning if I’m getting low.
I’ve had the edge of my boot scrape, but I think thats because I don’t consciously tuck them in when cornering.

I was working on my body position and still found it difficult to get my knee down at the track. I know this bike does sit higher but god damn, what does it take lol

I had maximum 58 / 57 but my pegs are scraping all the way, I guess they start around 54 degrees?
I've fully grinded down the screws on my pegs.

I've seen a japanese dude post a pic of 61 and 58 degrees, insane.
