ECU Flashing
ECU Flashing
woolich (makers of the software I use) tagged me in a post , commenting how restricted the stock programming is. This likely means large gains with the flash.
this also means they are working already on the software!!
great news!
Now my damn bike needs to get here!!

Re: ECU Flashing
I hope so, but my H2 went from 195 to 230 rwhp. I doubt the SX will do almost as much...

Re: ECU Flashing
Not a happy dyno by any measure also about as legit as a comparison as you can have as the bike never left the roller from the time it was put on there till the time these numbers were put down later that day. The H2 SX is just more restricted than the H2, hence the larger gains seen here on the H2 SX as compared to the H2. Not a final tune or measurement by any means nor is it reflective of what a fully tuned bike will do. This was just testing what could be had with some quick changes and some fuel tuning on the stock bike while finalizing the software package. So there is likely more to be had. Especially after dumping that exhaust (Hey Vandemon!!!!) Additionally, this is the EUR/AUS ECU so, there could be even more gains in store for the US bike depending on how bad they lop the balls off of the bike here stateside. Won't know until we get a read of the USA/CAN ECU(s).
Where that 100+ WHP gain was had - the electronic throttle valve mapping is "13" as opposed to the H2 where it is "39". Those gains come from ignition timing mapping, ETV remapping and fuel correction as the bike was pig rich after 10K. In layman's terms, even though you would have the throttle cracked wide F'in open electronically the bike would only register it as the throttle being opened roughly 13% even though the throttle is physically opened to 100%.
The software is slated to be released sometime today or during the night. A fully adjustable quickshifter, launch control, pit limiter, engine warm up and other things are slated to be added. Do not know if they'll be in there on the initial release or not. But they are in work.

Anthony
