Mine is at the dealer now fresh off the truck. I'll pick it up this evening.
Looks like the bike is totally put together while in the crate. Typically, the crated bikes have their handlebars and front wheels off for shipment. If the H2SX is essentially 100% assembled and then shipped, the uncrating and setup shouldn't take long at all.
It didn't take them long at all to get it prepped. It's basically install the battery, windscreen, accessories and add fluids. Test ride. Then the bike is ready to go.

At long last, after putting a deposit down in early December... Not sure I've ever ridden a bike so smooth.

Serial #510. Dealer threw in keyed bags, mounting kit, and matching panels for $784 (his cost). :cheer:

I'd say yes and no. It looks like they are bolted on the inside or pressed into a plastic fitting. I'm nervous to try to take the plastic piece off, it looks like it could either be a cover for a nut or it could be a pressed on piece. I'm afraid if its a pressed on piece it could break when trying to take it off. If it's a nut under there it'd be easy enough to remove but then there'd be a hole that would need plugged somehow.

If these are the same as the Ninja 1000 bags, they are bolted on and stuck on. Removing them leaves a hole in the bag.

Had anyone come up with a decent looking plug for the hole yet?

Just picked mine up in the St Louis area. They received it Wed.
Bags, and related stuff, are on order.
I've realized I'm probably going to have to hang my own heated gear power outlet, since the OEM accessory power port is really positioned to run a GPS, radar detector, etc.
I'm going to have to create a crib-sheet to remember how to run all the 'lectronics for a while. Though, it's not too bad.

I'm going to sacrifice a goat to the weather gods soon in hopes to break the grip of winter on my area! I really, really wanna ride this thing, NOW! lol

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity
