Where are the US/UK reviews?

Post by EvilSteve » Sat Mar 03, 2018 6:18 am

I'm still trying to figure out where the reviews are from English speaking markets beyond Visor Down. None of the US publications, MCN, 44 Teeth, motorcycle.com (who knows who's actually working there anymore), Motorcyclist, etc.

It's weird to me that loads of reviews are out there but only like 2 or 3 English ones and particularly after the "press launch"?

Anyone know what's going on?

I don't know what's been going on either. I've only been able to read or understand a single review written or video. it's rather disheartening. Seems like the North America market gets no love.

Thank you, DeRox, I'll check those out. Edit: yep, I had actually seen them all. One of them is actually a "review" without ever having ridden the bike.

I'm hoping that North America will get a press launch (although, IDK why there'd be a separate one) and we'll get to see a review. If not that then we'll be waiting for the press bikes to get here.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm kinda confused by the fact that they're comparing it to the ZZR and Hayabusa... I'd have thought Super Duke GT would be more on point or Z1000 (they touched on that for a second).

Definitely trust MCN's review over Visor Down but, they're similar anyway.

Think he was talking more about the power and speed aspect, but did throw in "comfort". The H2SX is basically the size and weight of a Hayabusa.

I hadn't thought to compare those bikes since I see them as a different category but that's just me. Thanks for pointing that out.

The busa and zx14r used to be considered sport touring or supersport touring. I guess it helped with the insurance companies. I think some markets still consider them supersport touring bikes.
