Nothing about a steering damper in the manual and nothing in the parts diagrams. 99% sure now that it's a complete typo/copy-paste error.

Well, I change oil every 3000km on all my bikes and I can tell you that when you really ride your bike properly after 3000km oil is black and used up

The Kawasaki USA site still has it there? You would think they would have caught the error by now. I guess we'll see soon.

Maybe different for JDM or maybe it's a translation error. It really didn't seem to mention anything except oil and filters.

I compared part numbers for the supercharger/cams/head and they are all different.
