H2 mirrors

Post by Snakes709 » Tue Dec 03, 2019 2:43 pm

I always been a big fan of the H2 mirrors over ours. Told the wife about them and she thought it would be a good xmas gift. She kinda dropped the ball on the surprise the other night and after checking the shared parts list i was worried they wouldnt fit. So she gave them to me early and they fit perfect. Note: shared parts list is parts that have the same part number, doesnt
necessarily mean it wont fit.

They do sit alot lower which im kinda worried about. Cant sit on my bike atm to physicaly see how the mirror lines up as my bike is in pieces. But so far i think it looks badass and more aggressive.

I agree, I think the positioning and added sculpture of them does look 'more aggressive'.

Now you got me thinking of taking my OEM, and seeing how they look reversed on the opposite sides. Damn it. Another experiment.

What? Lol. I didnt swap the oem mirrors and reverse them. My wife ordered the oem mirrors from rhe H2, which are different then our mirrors on the SX series.

No, they would not.

They would be turned to face rearward!

Egads.

I know you did not swap OEM mirrors. It must be my writing that is unclear, a persons misinterpretation, or both, for the misunderstanding.

I do understand your wife early X'Mas'ed up a set of H2 mirrors, thus my positive comment on the looks.

Then, my pondering, to get mirrors lower, just wondering on swapping my '19 OEM mirrors, which would lower them . . . looks T.B.D.

If that’s even possible to make them turn all the way around they are going to look exactly like they do now.

You have me Thinkjng I’m crazy Well I know I’m crazy but I can’t picture at all how swapping the mirror from one side to the other is going to change anything in how they sit.

Since installing the ABM handle bar kit which raises the bars up quite a bit it would be interesting to know if the H2 mirrors would give a better view by actually being lower and looking under the bars. I can see fairly well but an improvement would be ok since my view is somewhat blocked by the bars now. Would be great to test the H2 mirrors out provided a person can send them back if the view is no better.
Any others who have the ABM kit noticed this and have tried any alternatives?

I was able to get my bike off my lift and put my seat on, just not secured. Had to max out the adjustment the h2 mirrors allows but im able to see quite abit. The sx mirrors always showed mg shoulders and arm. The h2 mirrors shows the handles bars and my wrist but alot more view behind me.
