Hello from Central AZ

Post by Thunderdawg » Sat Feb 17, 2018 1:10 am

Just found this forum yesterday. I ordered an SE in December and as with others waiting to here when it will arrive. The extra bits I ordered are at the dealer's, just not the bike itself.

Hi, welcome. I'm curious what 'extra bits' you have waiting.

cOoTeR, I am in Yavapai county between Prescott and Chino Valley. The local dealership is Star Island Motorsports in Prescott Valley.

Thanks! I have noticed a few of the same folks from the NinjaH2 forum. I ordered the bags (panniers) and associated items required to actually put them on the bike, the bag liners and the knee pads.

I see you are in Austin. My wife and I are going there in April for the MotoGP races. Flying, not riding.

How much did the bags and hardware run you? Did you get a discount from the dealer?

At this point, I have a non-specific promise of a discount on the accessories. So far, the dealer has been very good about pricing. Time will tell when I write the next check.

My dealer told me they'd sell the bags to me at cost. I was told msrp is $1,200 for the full set up. They told me the normal markup was about 20% so they are going to sell them to me for $1,000 give or take depending on Kawasaki's official dealer cost.

Same with my dealer they give me discounts on everything. That's why love spending 200-300 cause normally it would cost 300-500
