Update from my dealer. United States delayed 45 days !

I checked with my dealership today, March 1st. Here's part of his response. (The rest involves details about the transaction and apologies).

"I haven’t heard anything so I just called to get an update. They are in transit to the port, and I was told dealers will start receiving them mid to late March."

Cooter there already arriving at the hub. I talked to my friend who happens to be the sales manager he told me that the bikes he order just for invintory are ready to be shipped meaning on creates heading to dealer. Nothing on the H2SX at the moment but he has Vin numbers for the zx400 900rs he will get those sometime next week, but no dealer will have any info until it hits the hub station.

Kawasaki UK taking registrations for ‘Green Friday’ - showcasing the 2018 range including H2SX SE. Set for 23 March - so I guess we know they will be in the country at least 2 weeks before for ports clearance etc.

The dealership I'm going through has 2 of the 900rs on the floor and have had them for awhile. Not sure about the 400.

I'm just relaying what the owner of the dealership is relaying to me from Kawasaki.

I don't know what your saying about the bikes being in crates heading to the dealers? They get put in the shipping crates at the factory. So my dealer saying they are in transit to the port isnt really different. I don't know what you mean that they're arriving at the hub? You later say that your dealership will have the VINs once they hit the hub. So are they at the hub or not?

Cooter my friend who order the H2SX for there dealer doesn't have the Vin but he has the Vin for the two bikes he's getting. Zx400 900rs what I mean by hub. Once they arrive to the port then they go to kawasaki substation. They processes the bikes there and determen what dealers get what. At that point your dealer knows what they are getting then they give the Vin to the dealer. Until the H2SX get proscess at the Kawasaki hub no dealer will have any info. Only guessing games. I'm a truck driver as soon as I get shipping info I'll go pick up and deliver

I found out that I was possibly going to be receiving a California Emissions bike. (Here's that topic, viewtopic.php?f=2&t=166)
So I asked my dealership to request from Kawasaki that I get a non California bike. I just got the email confirming they switched mine to a 49 state bike. The expected delivery date, per the Kawasaki District manager, is mid to late March. So basically within the next 3-19 days we should start getting them in North America.
