Update from my dealer. United States delayed 45 days !
Here is a copy of what my dealer just emailed me.
"I just wanted to give you an update on your Kawasaki H2 SX SE order. I spoke to <edited for privacy> with Kawasaki Vehicle Orders and I’ve been told there was a delay in this model shipping for Japan headquarters. They have pushed back all delivery dates 45 days, and she advised that no other information will be available for 2 more weeks. Supposedly the first batch is “on the water” meaning they have shipped from Japan and Kawasaki USA is expecting delivery in 2-3 weeks. From that point they are dispersed to the various Kawasaki distribution centers in the US, where they are then shipped to dealers. Yours is a “confirmed sold” meaning it receives priority over any other shipments.
I will keep you in the loop, but right now I’m guessing we are 30 days out.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and please know we are just as excited as you are to get this thing delivered.
Talk to you soon."
Not very promising news but it's better than nothing.

30 days out still isn't bad. Middle of March or even end of March is okay by me.

The part in red is confusing. If there are some "on the water" now coming to the US, is it going to take 45 more days to get them to the dealers? Or is Kawasaki going to let them sit in warehouses in the US and release them much later after they arrive in the US?cOoTeR wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 11:12 pmHere is a copy of what my dealer just emailed me.

Interesting..
I don't really mind if my bike comes by the end of end of March because that is about the time the snow is done melting here anyways... But one thing is for sure, I won't say no to taking possession of the bike in the next two/four weeks either! I really hope mine got shipped in the first batch being that I placed my order on November 22nd.

Re: Update from my dealer. United States delayed 45 days !
The way I understood it was that they are delayed 45 days from their original expected arrival date, the end of January- Middle of February. So most likely less than 45 days. If we go 45 days from mid January like a lot of us were told the expected arrival was that lands early March which is inline with what other people have been told globally.Ninja H2SX wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 11:48 pmThe part in red is confusing. I really wish that it was here already. The weather here had been almost perfect in the mid to upper 70s and sunny. I've almost put the tag on my race bike to go ride around locally. My first race is next Saturday though.

The email said "They have pushed back ALL delivery dates 45 days,..".JonTheChron wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 12:00 pmThe way I understand this is: the first batch of bikes are on their way from Japan and the ETA is 2-3 weeks

It didn't say they pushed back the second half of delivery dates while the first is still in place. If the first delivery dates were in effect the bikes would be here now.

Re: Update from my dealer. United States delayed 45 days !
I was originally told end of January beginning of Febuary. So 45 days out from that is early to mid march. I was also told mine is on a boat.
It prime riding season here. Im glad I have other bikes to ride but of coarse am excited to get my new bike!!!
We all pre ordered bikes so you have to expect some of this, wooooosa!
Cooter what is your race bike and where are you racing?
I used to race CCS Florida, I need to get back doing some track days I can tell when I ride I am not as sharp as I used to be
