yes, off is an actual setting. You can set the heated grips to being off, otherwise they would alwyas be on and there would only be 3 settings, low, med, high

This is a fishing trip sold in Korea.
It's used to shrink with hot heat.

Joony which diameter size did you use? 25, 30, or 35mm.

yes, mine can start to feel hot on setting 3 regardless or whether i'm wearing leather gloves or insulated gloves.

Do you know there are 4 heat setting for the grips? tbh, a lot of people dont, just asking, not trying to be a jerk. :D

off
1 - low, one light blink = infrequent current pulses
2 - med, two light blink = intermediate current pulses
3 - high, three light blink = frequent current pulses
I've done all the settings and even on high without gloves I can barely feel the heat. Guess I should ask my dealer about it but not hopeful 'cause with my dealer (as with a lot of dealers) I expect a "feels hot to me" response and a "heated" (sorry ....) discussion ;-)

I was recently asked about my grips so I thought I would revive this thread for new members who may be interested...
You can find the heat shrink material online. I got mine off eBay but I'm sure Amazon or perhaps fishing stores carry it.
There are several color options as well if you don't want black. The green was not dark enough for me.

Its actually Fishing Pole Grip when searching. I bought the 35mm diameter black in the 39" length. When cutting
for application add at least 1/4" extra before shrinking with a heat gun. Mine did shrink more after using my grip
heaters several times, so beware of that. So far it has held up great. For me the heat still is acceptable coming
thru my gloves. I think it looks much better than the stock look.

I'm using grip puppies. With insulated gloves. The grips get very warm and work good on '3'.Can't imagine without grip puppies and gloves.

It's either you, or your grips aren't working right, or you don't have them set on high (but it looks like you've tried).

So you either have no feeling in your hands  or they aren't working right. yes I always wear gloves, even through insulated winter riding gloves they can feel hot.

I can feel the stock heated grips through my insulated gloves. Through my summer gloves (kangaroo leather), setting 3 is too hot and burns my hands.

Can you shrink it with cold heat instead?
