Re: Exhaust hanger
The lower support mounts for the panniers are attached to the factory rear foot peg bracket.. As cool as this bracket is, I don't think it has the provision to fit the pannier mount bracket. Whilst the pannier may fit, it cant be secured

Re: Exhaust hanger
Yep, that was one of my fears. I don't have the panniers installed on my bike, but I see that they are not attached to the pegs, only rest there with a soft mount on the peg.Smartie wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2020 7:24 pm The lower support mounts for the panniers are attached to the factory rear foot peg bracket.. I figure that if you manage to install something like a frame slider of the correct size it would do it. Probably the panniers don't event need the peg rests but it would be better to have the lower mounts for stability.

Re: Exhaust hanger
You absolutely need the bottom point, otherwise your panniers are just hanging by the top with no bottom stability. Having said that, it's a plate that you bolt to the back passenger pegs. Theoretically, you could alter the exhaust hanger to add the mount point. Probably would change the shape, however.
