Deer jumped out in Front of us tonight

Got a kick out of the sound track..nice job. Still have a dent in the front fender of my HD from a deer encounter. One of those episodes that happened so quickly by the time I got past the W in WTF, it was all over. Glancing blow, adrenalin rush, with the deer bounding away as best as I could tell in my rear view mirror. Have a new appreciation for how fast they can come out from hiding in an overgrown drainage ditch by the side of the road to try and ruin my day.

I was riding to work on the H2SxSe early morning (dark) in October on the interstate. A car was coming up quickly in the passing lane as I approached a semi. I throttled up and bounded past the semi some distance in front of that fast approaching vehicle. To my surprise it was a Pennsylvania State Trooper (flashing lights gave him away). I pulled over and waited. As he approached he asked if I was from around here. He told me I was going pretty fast back there and in October deer are moving around. He got back in his car and we both went our separate ways. So the deer threat somehow saved me from possible financial penalty. Who woulda thought.
