Yeah, older tech. Newer models allow you to turn off specific frequencies, ie uniden R3, escort redline etc

Re: Paced on the Dragon
I find that using the app V1Driver on my iPhone, along with a Bluetooth dongle on my Valentine 1, has reduced falses dramatically and also its timed auto-muting means I never have to take my hand off the bars to push the V1's button. Putting up with a small number of short-lived false alerts is, to me, a small price to pay versus getting a "performance evaluation document" from the folks in blue.

+1. The Dragon is a bucket list road, best suited for smaller bikes. The Cherohaulass is my favorite road, but the potential for ‘Performance Awards’ is high too. N. Ga, Tn, NC is an awesome area for riding, Blessed to be so close.terrordbn wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:28 pmAgreed! The Cherohala Skyway and the Foothills Parkway are GREAT roads, but seen my share of law enforcement on those roads also. That area is amazing for the variety of road types and scenic routes!vcyclenut wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:10 pm this Is a big reason I prefer the roads around the dragon to the dragon. You have to do the dragon at least once but it is not anywhere near my favorite road

Re: Paced on the Dragon
I would add VA to that list as well. Just got back from a weekend of riding lots of twisty roads on the southern part of VA Blue Ridge Pkwy. Excellent. There are many roads around there that are as twisty as they get. Great scenery as well and the biggest bonus is..... VERY little traffic on any of them. Look for a website called the "Claw of the Dragon" for some of the rides.Imoutdoors wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2019 1:03 am+1. The Dragon is a bucket list road, best suited for smaller bikes.
