What are y'alls thoughts about ceramic coating, inside, outside, or both, does it protect as advertised, truly keep heat dissipation more even, keeps the parts a bit cooler, increase power, increases exhaust efficiency-scavenges better, stops a part from tarnishing, etc:
- turbos
- exhaust parts: headers, pipes, etc
- piston crowns
What are your thoughts and experiences?

Headers on my '04 V11 LeMans were already coated when I acquired her at 4,000 miles. At 15,000 miles, they've held up without a fault.

I got my entire bike done after I had it for only 350kms.
I also had PPF film done on areas where stones could potentially impact the bike.
I'm at 5000kms now and everything looks exactly the same as the day I picked up from the detailer. It was $$$$ but I think worth it because I went with a 7 year ceramic which on a bike I would think will easily last 10+.

different kind of ceramic coating, but yes you are correct, I have my car done over 3 years ago. even if its dirty it shines like crazy , super easy to wash and haven't waxed it sinceValkryieX wrote: Mon Sep 16, 2019 4:44 pm I got my entire bike done after I had it for only 350kms.

The first thing I can forgive for my possible bad translation.
The ceramic coating is of great help in vehicles that need a temperature drop. I have an Italian motorcycle that burned belly pan due to excess heat. Thanks to the ceramic coating, it was able to reduce the exhaust temperature by 20%. It may seem little, but added to other modifications it is of great help.
Also, as vcyclenut comments, it is very easy to clean it.
It is also a perfect restorative treatment.
In Spain my best option was the "Cerakote" ceramic treatment, but the best professionals are in the UK and are called "Zircotec".
