Yes I connected to the canbus junction on the left side. I do know the tft comouter display controls the system. I was hoping that it might not require a wake up/turn on signal every ignition sequence. Since the left lamp has it's own computer I was hoping the engineers and programmers designed it to just change a rom setting/code something like that. So that if it was last set to be on its last use it would resume the same functions once it received a 12v source and saw the correct lean angles from the imu. Since that did not work I'm betting each ignition on cycle it must starts from scratch and be told what to do/listen for (signal wise).
Just dropped the bike off at the local dyno shop, to get base line numbers. And the arduino parts came in so I start messing with that. Once I get it working and activating the solenoids I'll then start ripping the left head lamp apart. I've got the arduino nano, mpu6050, and a 6 channel 5v relay expansion board with 10 amp ac/dc capable relays. That way each light will be individually controlled

Oh the signal path your referring too from the tft, to main ecu. From looking at the wiring. I'm just about 100% sure the tft itself is the main ecu you'd be thinking and referring too. All the diagnostic descriptions refer to meter unit, which falls in line as being the tft. It seems like the bike relies on the ECU and Meter Unit to control all the functions of the motorcycle as needed. With the meter unit MANAGING most of the if/this-then/this input/output signals, for the other sub computers to interpret as needed. At least that's my best educated guess.

Finally got a program loaded and kinda working. Its basic and not very consistent. I'm taking programs already made for digital spirit levels and fron there i will build upon.

Re: Cornering Lamps Retrofit to H2SX?
I’m going through the exact same process (got the lights, now just need to get them to work) so I’m following this post with interest.
Getting the details of which loom wires went to which wires in the left cornering light was a huge step forward. Sorted out the Cornering Light Relay, which wires to take from IMU/CANbus, and how to connect the left light to the right one. Now I just need to get the bike to talk to the lights correctly and we’re all good.
If I get anywhere I’ll add to this post.

I dont think your going to be able to get the bike to talk to the lights unless you change the instrument cluster to the SE style one. Just my extensive experience with how can bus protocol and how all that usually integrates with eachother. Theirs a few forms of integration, and with my evaluation the missing link will be the instrument cluster. And i don't think theirs going to be enough interest or a person with that skill to crack into the code interested in this.SammyH wrote: Mon May 11, 2020 4:31 pm I’m going through the exact same process (got the lights, now just need to get them to work) so I’m following this post with interest.

That is why i went another route, and that was making it a stand alone system. That will turn on when the bike is turned in. I'm glad this is helping other people too. I've put the project a little on the back burner. But within a week or two i can start messing w the arduino coding since i know it may help others. I have a feeling you'll end up going the same route. I'd suggest so myself.

Re: Cornering Lamps Retrofit to H2SX?
Going the opposite direction of this post, but has any removed the lean lights and figured out a way to kill the error code? Wanna drop as much weight off the bike, especially during track days. I dont do alot of pitch black night time riding so the lean lights are just dead weight.
