Exhaust replacements

Post by Fred » Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:29 am

Bike has not yet arrived, but I'm looking at options for other exhaust.
So far only seen something from Akrapovic. Someone already seen other types?

The Akropovic exhaust seems to be a factory option. Your most likely going to have to wait awhile for the other companies to get their hands on one of the bikes and develop an exhaust for it. Probably around a year for a quality set up.

I'm going to have Brock's performance on my and I'm still waiting from brock himself. I order the bike from Vista a dealer 5 min away so he can do the Dyno and Exhaust for people to buy as well as a few other little odds and ends

Got a reply from Yoshimura when i asked if there would be a exhaust made by them:

Dear Sir, Thank you for the message. We have not made the specific plan for the H2SX yet but it would come in the near future. Once we develop the product, it would be posted in our facebook. We hope we can offer you a nice product again. Best regards, Yoshimura Japan Co., Ltd.

So i guess it will be the "standard" Akra.

I'm going to wait for a quality exhaust that has better performance than an overpriced factory slip on.

I'am also not sure what to do. The only option now is the Akra and will cost more than 1.200,- euro in the Netherlands  https://tinyurl.com/yahxzzl3.
For that 1.200,- euro i had 2 exhausts on my Hayabusa.

So maybe at the beginning with the standard exhaust and wait for a few months when others will be available.

Or just visit Pajic, Fred, our own Dutch exhaust wizard. He'll weld any exhaust under our bike. I think I'm gonna pay him a visit. Have the cat removed and replace the stock exhaust with something like this:

I will definitely be waiting for a product from their Raceline series to be released, I have absolutely no interest in a simple muffler
