Heated Grips: OEM versus Oxford
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2019 H2 SX and looking for feedback from anyone who has used both the Kawasaki OEM grip heaters and the Oxfords. I have only used the Oxfords, and they are hot, like really hot when set to high. I like that. I could "live" with less intense heat, but, am concerned they are lame. Thanks in advance

Re: Heated Grips: OEM versus Oxford
I've used the Oxfords on other bikes and they get hotter than the Kawasaki OEM one's. For me no problem since I'm not planning to ride in the bitter cold with the SX

I'm not sure who made the "OEM" grips for my other Kawi, but they get much hotter than the grips on my SE.

Re: Heated Grips: OEM versus Oxford
FWIW, the heated grips on my H2 SX SE are the coolest of all the heated grips I have ever had. When wearing winter gloves and on the highest setting I can't hardly even notice they are heated. Same gloves on my Harley and my BMW... well I could never run on the highest setting. If I take the glove off, I can feel they are heating up but even then not that hot to me. I was actually wondering if there was something wrong with mine because of that.

They could be hotter, but what really bugs me is the way you have to control the settings. Having to stare at that button on the grip and trying to see if there are 1, 2, or 3 lights flashing is ridiculous!

Who's used them through a winter, and what are your thoughts?

Re: Heated Grips: OEM versus Oxford
I've been riding with the heated grips at night lately and honestly, if it weren't for that stupidly bright green LED, I wouldn't have thought they were on.

Your welcome! Please give an update on how the Oxfords work though. Thanks!
