Exactly.

Another appropriate question I don't know the answer to.

Flush and refill with a high quality fluid. Takes about 10 minutes.

Which fluid did you use... just curious. Thanks!

Castrol SRF is known to be the best brake/clutch fluid out there. If it wasn't 100$ a QT down here I'de pick it up. I Ended up putting motul RBF 600 which was about 80$ a QT, but available in 1/2 qt sizes which I got for 50%. well worth it imo.

So I checked my fluid, it has turned black too, and its' volume is a bit lower in the reservoir.

Another damn chore.

This is an easy one though. Only took me about 20 minutes. I bought one of the cheap siphon kits with the blue squeeze bottle from Auto-Zone for the tubes and then used a soda bottle to drain the fluid into. 8mm open end wrench and away you go flushing that fluid out!

Aaron, you are right, it is an easy job.

Just me kabitz'in about another thing taking a few minutes away from riding!

My frustration tolerance for chores has reeeeeally diminished since buying this bike.
