Does the H2 SX SE have Kawasaki Engine Brake Control?

Post by cOoTeR » Sun Feb 11, 2018 12:24 am

Kawasaki US website lists that the bike has Kawasaki Engine Brake Control. But most of the reviews have said that the bike slows aggressively when closing the throttle and none have mentioned trying to adjust the engine braking settings. It's starting to look like the bike doesn't have the steering damper that's listed hopefully this isn't missing as well.

Have you heard any reviews talking about it? All I've heard in the reviews is that the bike is too abrubt when closing the throttle.

Nope, no mentioning in reviews as fas as I know.
I had it on my H2 and tried it once. Right before I totalled the bike :bash: . Not related to the kebc...
I used it too short to give an informed opinion but I kinda liked it. Although I didn't find the 2015 H2 abrupt when closing the throttle (opening was a totally different story  ) less kebc felt like having more control over the bike, less interference by engine braking...

SE does have engine breaking control and it does make it much milder than without. You can change the setting from the mode button

One thing all modern bikes do have is fuel-cut on closed throttle to help with emissions.
